Why the name Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet was chosen because of two reasons. One, I am personally so inspired by outer space, light, and colors. Second, my favorite color is purple and violet just fit perfectly!
Why should I choose Ultraviolet?
Our mission will always be to make a difference and as a small business owner, I knew the only way I could be set apart from competitors in a crowded space was by making something no-one had seen before.
We may be expensive, but we promise to never sacrifice on quality in each ingredient that goes into every blend. We carefully source every ingredient separately, and blend the ingredients in house. They are all made fresh and hand sealed and packed! They are the best teas and they even taste amazing and feel amazing too. I am so excited if you try them!
Where does your tea come from?
Our Teas are made with loose leaf tea, and every ingredient is carefully sourced from small farms around the world depending on climate and origin of the ingredient. Before coming out with a blend, we research and try many different sources to create the most fresh and potent tasting and beneficial tea possible!
Why do your teas cost so much?
It's fair to say that our teas are more expensive than traditional "supermarket" teas. But it simply comes down to quality; the finest quality whole leaf teas cost more. How could we deliver the exquisite taste of the finest teas from around the world, with all the work that goes into producing it, for only pennies a cup? We are also a very small business, ran by three young women- we hand make and pack each order, and are constantly buying fresh ingredients so that your tea is as fresh as it can be!
Which Teas are caffeinated?
All of our teas are caffeine free, except for Lavender Earl Grey. The average cup of Lavender Earl Grey is only 50mg of natural caffeine.
I made a mistake! Can I cancel/edit my order?
Accidents happen! If you need to edit or cancel your order contact our customer services on 804-538-4071 or from our contact page. You can also email info@getultraviolet.com!
how long will I have to wait for my order?
Once you have placed your order, we'll process it within 2-5 working days. If you choose our Express service, your teas will be delivered within 1-2 days after shipping. If you choose Standard Shipping then the vast majority of deliveries are made within 2-5 days of dispatch, but on the odd occasion they may take longer. We can make good tea but unfortunately we can’t solve all the problems of the postal service!
Why isn't my discount code working?
There’s a few things to check. Firstly, our site can only accept one discount code at a time – so if you’re lucky enough to have more than one make sure you pick well to get the best deal! Secondly, make sure you double check the t&cs of each code, as not everything is included in all codes, and some codes are single use only. Please note customers details will be checked against the current customer database during checkout, and any invalid codes will be removed. Also remember it asks for your code after shipping information. If your code still isn’t working, you can get in touch from our contact page or text us at 804-538-4071.
Which courier do you use?
Our Standard Shipping is with UPS, which is a 2-5 working day service. You can also make use of our Express Shipping service with UPS which is a 1-2 working day service. Usually you'll receive your order (no matter the method you choose) within 5 working days. Please allow up to 7 working days for orders before getting in touch though, as we can't take any action until after that period of time! Some orders just take a little bit longer.
Why should I subscribe?
Like anything else, seeing results requires consistency. Our subscription is set up so you never run out of your Tea supply, and can consistently add Ultraviolet Tea to your routine! We also offer %15 off on every subscription we offer, so you can save and receive your teas consistently.
How do I cancel or edit my subscription?
You can review your subscription by visiting https://getultraviolet.com/account/login and clicking "subscriptions". From here, you’ll be able to add and remove teas, as well as change the frequency of the orders. If you want to change the frequency of your entire order, you'll need to change this on each tea.
How do I restart a canceled subscription?
You’ll need to start your new subscription from scratch on any of our products that offer subscription!
